ABOUT
STRANGEWiRE
Press
release
On a daily basis, strange things happen around the globe.
Whether it is a woman in Rome finding the Virgin Mary's image burned
into the side of taco, a man in Japan angry at the poltergeist that's
been destroying his house, or the child in the USA who claims he saw
bright lights flying in the sky last night, most go unexplained - and
most go ignored. Once in a great while, the media decides to pick up
a story and make a big deal about it, but it is still rare to see mention
of "flying saucers" in the headlines of the Times. Why? Because there's
no evidence. There's no hard proof.
The purpose of STRANGEWiRE is to find and present the
latest and most pertinent information regarding strange phenomena from
all corners of the globe to our readers. Our current categories of interest
are listed in the left-hand bar, but more will be added in the coming
months and years. We are not interested in singular incidents, such
as amusing stories about botched burglaries and medical malpractice
that are regularly reported in "Wacky News!"-type columns.
We are instead focused on the type of events that seem to be part of
a greater overall mystery. To entertain and enlighten our readers is
our primary goal. To help solve the mystery is a close second.
Are we skeptics or believers? We dissassociate ourselves
from specifying an orientation, because that would be biased and stupid.
However, we do have a sense of humor, and you'll probably notice that
in our writing.
As many of the stories we report come from out of the
way sources, we are very dependent on our readers to let us know anything
of interest they discover. Send it along using the and it will be considered
for publication.
We hope you enjoy!
