Rochester, NH residents Nicole Mancini and John Thurber were arrested last week after workers at St. Mary's Church overheard them talking about sacrificing their children on the altar. Mancini apparently told police that Jesus had sacrificed himself to save her soul, so she was in turn planning on freeing herself by sacrificing her children to Jesus. Or something. They were both arrested and are being held on three counts of child endagerment.
Sacrifice in New Jersey, on the other hand, is for the birds. Six birds were found beheaded near the site of the Hutton mansion in Egg Harbor Township. The mansion was torn down two years ago but is apparently popular with devil worshippers. The birds were found lined up in pairs.
