GERMAN WITCHES PARTY ON WALPURGIS NIGHT
Up to 150,000 witches and warlocks are expected to participate in this year's Walpurgis Night, a revelry atop the highest peak in the Harz mountains. Parades, bonfires, and a play tracing the persecution of witchcraft will be part of the night's events. German legend says that this celebration is associated with the witches' carnival, and that May 1st is the one night of freedom witches have before being forced into the underworld till the next big celebratory day: October 31st. The Harz mountains figure prominently in many German fairy tales, often including goblins and witches.

COMMENTS

Please get your facts right before you post something like this... There aren't any such thing as warlocks! I am a Wiccan, and things like this, especially from a news source, make me very disappointed.
