NO MORE GHOST DETAINEES
The CIA will no longer be able to hold so-called "ghost" detainees at military prisons such as Abu Ghraib. According to undersecretary of defense for intelligence Stephen Cambone, new interim rules prevent any unregistered prisoners from being subjected to alternate interrogation methods. The new guidelines have been published in an Army interrogation manual, which seeks to prevent incidents such as the Abu Ghraib scandal.

COMMENTS

How about seeking to remove incidents such as the Guantanamo Bay fiasco. I mean, just because you redefined torture doesn't mean what you're doing is any less wrong.

Well torture to some extent is OK by me. The Golden Rule doesn't always serve best in every situation. I'm not one to put full trust in our government or anything, but I do think they should have some wiggle room to do the job of extracting information.
