Thompson takes a trip to Area 51 and the surrounding area with Danny Paglen, a student at UC Berkeley who is writing his doctoral dissertation in geography on clandestine military installations at UC Berkeley. Together, they climb to the summit of Tikaboo Peak (the best legal vantage point of the base), dine at the Little A'Le'Inn, and check out Tonopah Test Range, another classified base down the road from Area 51.
