MEXICAN MOB BEATS WITCHES

A mob in Mexico's southernmost state beat six people accused of witchcraft Friday morning. More than 100 residents of Pantlho cornered six locals, who allegedly were practicing witchcraft in a nearby home. Though plans were voiced to hang the accused witches in a nearby soccer stadium, the police managed to break up the mob in time. The victims may still have to pay fines, as local laws outlaw the practice of witchcraft.
