MORE AMITYVILLE STORIES HIT THE NEWS
Despite the mountain of evidence slamming it as a hoax, the Amityville haunting still gets mentioned left and right on slow news days. First off, one of the Lutz sons who experienced the alleged phenomena maintains that, while no film or book representation has accurately depicted the 28 days he spent at 112 Ocean Avenue, a haunting did occur (which apparently resulted in a "shadowy menacing figure" and his bedroom window which would bang open and shut). However, Quaratino Lutz, now 37, holds his father responsible for dabbling in the occult in the first place.

After the strange events began happening, psychic Mary Downey of Spring City, Pennsylvania came to the Lutz's aid. In the second article, she reminisces about her psychic premonitions:

"I felt the presence of hooded figures standing around the door and as I was reciting the 'Our Father'. I could hear it being recited backward."
I don't want to turn into CSICOP or anything, but the facts show that if any house is haunted, 112 Ocean Ave. is not. -AZCentral.com: Stepson disputes 'Amityville Horror' accounts

COMMENTS

I completely believe in ghost. The Amityville Horror stories espically. Anything is possible! I mean why would someone make up a lie and really be scared shitless about it?
