Paleontologists in Utah have found the remains of a new species of feathered dinosaur, which they believe to be the missing link bridging meat-eaters to plant-eaters. The "Falcarius utahensis," ("sickle maker from Utah,") appeared about 125 million years ago. It had legs built for running like meat-eaters, but a belly size typical of plant-eaters, along with dull teeth instead of serrated. The discovery was presented in today's Nature.
