Reports recently made the rounds of newspapers announcing that Cumbria, once a UK UFO hotspot region, has suffered an enormous decline in sightings this year - so much so that the local UFO Hunters board for the area was closing its doors. But now, UFOlogist Chris Parr, who was co-head of the organization, is planning on writing a book on the region's association with UFOs in hopes of reviving interest (he attributes part of the decline to the cancellation of The X-Files).
