DOGS COMMIT SUICIDE OFF BRIDGE
I'm not sure exactly how to categorize this story, but it is quite an interesting phenomenon. In Milton, Scotland, dogs have been jumping off a rural bridge and killing themselves for no apparent reason. For the past 20-30 years, the canine suicide rate at this location has been as high as one per month. Reasons suggested range from the whistling of the wind from the Loch Lomond, to a ghost that supposedly haunts the area. Most dogs die from the 60 foot fall, but there have even been a few occasions of survivors returning to jump again.

COMMENTS

Man I'd love to live near there to witness and study this sort of thing.

I know, if only dogs could jump off the Brooklyn Bridge...much closer to home.
