12 UFO SIGHTINGS IN SLEEPY SCOTTISH VILLAGE
West Kilbride might just be a sleepy village in Scotland, but that doesn't mean it can't have its share of extra-terrestrial visitors. Last year, 12 sightings were logged from the village, the highest number in Britain. This apparently rivals Roswell, NM, for yearly sightings, but if you think about it, it's far more interesting. No one would be surprised if over a hundred reports were logged from Roswell, since it's a part of the culture. However, West Kilbride is the type of place where people reluctantly reveal what they have seen under the agreement of anonymity.

The sightings were all similar: yellow balls of light, sometimes in packs of 25, flying over the hills of West Kilbride. The Ministry of Defense says that though there are no air force bases in the area, several landowners own their own planes.
