CHAMPY CAUGHT ON VIDEO?

Two fishermen claim to have captured a video of Champy, the lake monster supposedly lurking in New York's Lake Champlain. The video, taken last summer, seems to show some sort of serpent-like creature - but the image is totally unclear and very brief. It's definitely not the lumbering, dinosaur-like creature some have said it to be. "It was as big around as my thigh," said Peter Bodette, one of the two fishermen. "I'm 100 percent sure of what we saw. I'm not 100 percent sure of what it was." Baby Champy, maybe?

Champ fever predates the Loch Ness Monster craze. In 1880, PT Barnum offered $50,000 for the capture of Champy. Hundreds searched but nothing was found. Over the years, there have been a few grainy photos and unsupportive videos. Here's another to add to the bunch.
