A woman was charged with smuggling after a human skull was found in her baggage on Thursday. The woman, Myrlene Severe, had flown into Fort Lauderdale airport from Haiti, and claimed that the skull was intended for use in a voodoo ritual to ward off evil spirits. The skull apparently still had hair, bits of skin, and teeth and had been bought from an unidentified man in Haiti.
