This is definitely the most interesting story from this news-filled Friday. There's a tribe living on an island in the Indian Ocean that is considered to be one of the world's last pre-Neolithic. Numbering about 200-250 in population, the Sentinelese have historically resisted all contact from outsiders, and next to nothing is known of their language and customs. Indian authorities attempted contact with the tribe during the 1990's, but gave up after several deaths.
Two fishermen were killed by the Sentinelese on January 25th after they fell asleep in their boat while illegally crab fishing near the island. The tribe apparently noticed their presense and shot out a wave of arrows. A helecopter was later unable to retrieve the bodies due to more arrowfire.
The tribe was last seen running toward a fire, and rumors have spread that the two fishermen will be eaten.
