RUSSIAN SCIENTIST PREDICTS ICE AGE
A Russian astronomer has claimed that Earth will go through a "mini Ice Age" in the middle of this century due to low solar output. According to Khabibullo Abdusamatov, temperatures will begin falling in six or seven years, and hit a low point between 2035 and 2045. The last mini Ice Age occurred between 1645 and 1705, leaving canals in the Netherlands frozen. Abdusamatov says this is normal behavior for the Earth.
