TWO WEEKS TO FIND THE HOLY GRAIL
Richard Hammond was recently funded by the BBC to go on a two week trek in search of the holy grail, and this article details his journey. Hammond began in Constantinople, where various religious relics such as pieces of the cross, the crown of thorns, John the Baptist's bones, and the lance that pierced Jesus supposedly were trafficked through. He then follows the trail of the Knights Templar to Britain, and after that to a place in France that supposedly knew Jesus was just an ordinary man and had his bones. The rest of the article briefly recaps the recent interest in the grail. For some reason, no one ever points out that the grail in Valencia, Spain, is regarded by many to be the one used at the Last Supper. Perhaps that's because it's a bit disappointing.

-The Daily Scotsman: Why we'll never stop looking for the Holy Grail

COMMENTS

I live in Valencia so I wondered if it would get a mention in the program. It didn't, but that's normal so I thought nothing of it...

...but then when the credits roll at the end of the program it says "The BBC wishes to thank ... Valencia Cathedral".

So they went to Valencia Cathedral, they must have seen the Grail (it's quite hard to miss...), why didn't they mention it?

Answers on a postcard...
