Two vampire bits in the news today. First off is the bizarre case of Micah White, a 22 year old who decided both his mother and aunt were vampires and killed them with stakes and set their bodies on fire. He has since been ruled both schizophrenic and bi-polar, and was found not guilty by reason of insanity. Notebooks were found from the fire detailing his obsession with vampires, and just a week prior his mother told his sister she felt he needed help. He has since been committed to a mental institute.
Also, you may have heard of the self-proclaimed vampire running for governor of Minnesota. Sadly for those who'd love to see a blood thirsty immortal monster in office, an Indiana police dispatcher recognized him from a news report as a wanted felon. He was arrested and is now in Indiana to stand trial.
