For 15 years, residents of Maine's Androscoggin County have reported seeing and hearing a strange animal with glowing eyes and loud, frightening cries. The animal allegedly has attacked and killed a Doberman pinscher and a Rottweiler over the past couple of years. Now, some believe this animal may have been found. Last Saturday, a carcass of a strange dog-like animal was discovered on Route 4, having been hit by a car. So far, no one is exactly sure what it is. Wildlife officials and animal control officers decided not to examine the remains, and by Tuesday, vultures had picked the bones clean. Loren Colemen of Cryptomuno has suggested it might be a rare wolf-dog hybrid. Check out the picture at the link below to make your own decision.
