A week ago, The Bridlington Free Press ran a story about David Hinde, a man who claimed to have seen UFOs while he drove toward his home in Bempton on March 1. The objects consisted of two glowing spherical objects, red and orange in color, which moved independently in all directions though remained close together. The sighting was confirmed by Stephen Dyes, who saw similar lights in the sky that night.
Since running the story, the paper has received numerous corroborations about the events of March 1. Donald Rogers, 70, saw the lights from his home. Connie Shepley, 73, saw two orange lights hovering over a gas station and claims they were not planes, having previously worked at the Manchester Airport. William Lester, 61, and his brother-in-law saw the phenomenon at 8:30pm, and says they didn't appear to be any kind of aircraft. The next day, more sightings followed.
